Leo Purcka

Print Optimization Consultant

Leo’s role with POG is as a senior consultant who is involved in both print assessments and print strategy implementation.

  • Print Assessments: Leo uses strong communication and interpersonal skills in conducting end user, management, and executive interviews for the studies. This information is critical in capturing and understanding the user requirements and needs, as well as their likes, dislikes, issues and concerns for the study. During this information gathering process Leo is able to capture and document the e-print application and technology opportunities.
  • Implementation: Leo is a cultural navigation expert who uses his technical skills, work experience, client print infrastructure standards and strategy, and the end user requirements to design floor layouts for the proposed environments and to obtain the necessary approvals and signoffs to physically implement the output strategy. Leo uses strong consultative and facilitation skills in the collaborative and interactive approval process to obtain the full acceptance and agreement to the proposed changes in the output environment.
  • Leo has a strong background in the print and document management environment. He has been with the Print Operations Group for more than 9 years during which time he has done over 40 assessment and implementation projects in both the private and public sectors including health care, academia, transportation, government, energy (oil & gas), banking, insurance, manufacturing, and service industries. Before joining the Print Operations Group, Leo had 11 years in the Information Technology and Information Strategy departments of a large integrated oil and gas company where he was responsible for output and information management. Leo also owned his own imaging business and was an account representative for a large hardware provider for 5 years.
