Jim Rempel

President

Jim has taken the idea of stand-alone print consulting services from concept 14 years ago to a globally positioned consulting firm with over 35 consultants.  Prior to the introduction of The Print Operations Group, customers who wanted to optimize their output infrastructure environment had to do it on their own, or rely on the industry to consult objectively on themselves.

Jim built a team of print and IT professionals that have developed world-class methodology, processes and programs to address challenging issues in the print and content management marketplace. Jim was extremely proud when POG won two consecutive Best Services award at the 2006 and 2007 Gartner North American Print & Imaging Summits. Jim was nominated by Ernst & Young for their Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2006.

In addition to providing corporate direction for the company, Jim contributes over 25 years of innovative print strategy ideas and subject matter expertise to every print assessment project that The Print Operations Group conducts.

Jim completed a Computer Science Honors Degree at the University of Manitoba in 1980. Jim has worked for IBM, Shell and Xerox. While at Xerox, Jim earned many sales awards including 13 President Clubs, 5 Sales Rep of the Year awards and 2 Platinum awards.
